Helping Link-Một Dấu Nối is pleased to announce the newest Board of Directors members: Sumiran Poudel and Minh Doan. Both joined the Board in June.
Sumiran Poudel grew up in Renton, has close ties to the local Vietnamese community and brings public service sector experience with U.S. Representative Adam Smith, the City of Shoreline and UW Evans School. “I look forward to serving on the Board of Helping Link as we continue our long standing mission of empowering Vietnamese Americans from our new HUB in Renton,” says Poudel.
Minh Doan relocated from Vietnam to the United States in 2014. Fluent in both English and Vietnamese, Doan brings with him financial background and a deep commitment to supporting and uplifting the Vietnamese community. With a passion for bridging cultures and providing practical guidance, he is ready to join Helping Link to help navigate everyday challenge to build a stronger, more connected Vietnamese community in Seattle. “I’m grateful for everything I have in life, and I’m ready to spread that gratitude to others.” says Doan.
“I appreciate the energetic commitment that Minh and Sumiran bring to our mission and strategic plan implementation,” says Board President, Patrick Tefft. “They join Hao Duong, Sam Kenney and me on the Board of Directors.”
As with all nonprofit organization board members, Helping Link/Một Dấu Nối are unpaid volunteers. And we thank them for their service.
