Funding Opportunity Specialist

Do you like doing online research to track down that perfect opportunity? Helping Link seeks a volunteer to lead the search for sources of grant funding for our Fund Development Team. Tasks include attending a weekly virtual meeting and researching potential public, private, corporate, foundation and individual funding sources via online databases, the web and general word of mouth.

Minimum commitment: 2-4 hours/week. Hybrid online/in-person but volunteer must live in the Puget Sound area (Western WA). Training is provided. Skills required include the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple or ongoing deadlines; strong research and writing skills; and the ability to use Microsoft Teams.
