Helping Link’s Donation History

The 2022 GiveBIG campaign starts TODAY (May 3-4, 2022)

Helping Link’s goal this year is to raise $15,000, so we can continue addressing the needs of the Vietnamese community in Seattle by providing them with educational programs and resources in language, technology, and citizenship. Our free classes prepare our students to become employed and support their families, to engage in English with their schools, doctors, and local agencies, and to fulfill their dream of becoming US citizens!

We believe in supporting our intergenerational families, nurturing our communities, and fostering cultural resilience. Will you join us?

Please support Helping Link – Một Dấu Nối by making a donation NOW to make a financial gift.

#1 30 years of serving the Vietnamese American community

Since its founding in 1993, Helping Link has been bridging the gap between literacy and technology. We are committed to solving the needs of the Vietnamese community in Seattle by providing them with educational programs and resources in language, technology, and citizenship. Our free classes prepare our students to become employed and support their families, to engage in English with their schools, doctors, and local agencies, and to fulfill their dream of becoming US citizens!

We believe in supporting our intergenerational families, nurturing our communities, and fostering cultural resilience.

#2 Center Relocation

Our Helping Link center location has been sold and will be demolished to accommodate a new development. Helping Link is passionate about remaining rooted in Little Saigon, where we can best support our clients and help the neighborhood thrive socially, culturally, and economically.

We are currently in search of a new home. We hope to find a location that will allow us to remain accessible to our community members, continue to carry out our programs and essential services, and serve as “home base” for our students, clients, volunteers, and staff.

 #3 Public Safety and Advocacy

Helping Link is passionate about public safety in Little Saigon and supports quality of life issues for the residents living in this neighborhood. We will continue to advocate for the people and businesses of the Little Saigon community, but we cannot do it alone. It is imperative that we hold our local leaders accountable and make sure they maintain the recent clean-up in Little Saigon. We want to see the area full of people again, taking walks, shopping, and visiting local restaurants. Without change, businesses will shutter, public safety will continue to slide, and residents will suffer.
