Grant Writer

Do you enjoy communicating via the written word?

Gathering all the information and crafting a compelling message?

Helping Link seeks a volunteer grant writer for our Fund Development Team who will persuasively communicate the organization’s mission to potential funders. Tasks include attending a weekly online meeting; developing, writing and submitting grant applications; and completing reporting requirements for existing funding.

Minimum commitment: 2-4 hours/week. Hybrid online/in-person but volunteer must live in the Puget Sound area (Western WA). Training is provided. Skills required include the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple or ongoing deadlines; strong research and writing skills; and the ability to use Microsoft Teams.

Our mission is to “Empower Vietnamese-Americans through assisting them through social adjustment, family stability, and self-sufficiency while nurturing community service and young professional leaders.”
